Where to have a Fun Night Out?
Nightclub-Vespas
Most of Madeira´s nightlife is centered in Funchal if you want to party all night go ahead and try one of the oldest Madeira nightclubs, and still one of the most popular, Vespas.
Actually, there are 3 different nightclubs sharing the same space:
- Vespas where you have a younger vibe
- Marginal where they play techno music
- Jam classic pop music where all of the kind of generations meet up, but the reference is always Vespas and people always say “let’s go to Vespas” even if they will end up going to Jam or Marginal.

Nightclub-Copacabana & Casino
One other popular nightclub is Copacabana and Copacabana Garden, one is inside the casino and the other one is in the garden. Here you can enjoy the night by listening to the world hits, the vibe on both nightclubs is amazing when you are with your friends.

Trap Bar
If you don't like those clubs that have plenty of people, you can always choose Trap, it is a 3-floor club that haves a bar area with live music, disco "deep house" and "lounge bar terrace" in order to diversify the spaces and go according to the interests of customers.

Dubai Dance Bar
Trap has a competitive neighbor, his name is Dubai and they were one of the first clubs selling shisha on Madeira Island. It has three floors of fun at night in Funchal. The first is a disco, the second is a Lounge area and the last, on the terrace, invites lovers to enjoy a fantastic Shisha.

Café Teatro
Café do Teatro is essentially a must-visit place in Funchal. It has a minimalist decor, very lively, where good mood and glamor.At the Café do Teatro, enjoy a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere. In addition to its famous cocktails, they occasionally have DJs spinning tunes on the inside patio. During the day, it serves a variety of snacks, and you can enjoy your menu on its large and pleasant terrace.
Old Town
You can have a lot of fun at the bars on Zona Velha, they´re always full of people enjoying the music and drinking our traditional drink, Poncha or our traditional beer, Coral.
