Zimbralinho gives its name to a bay located in the western part of Porto Santo Island, between Pico das Flores and Morenos. A small pebble beach surrounded by steep cliffs and two rocks that lie at the bottom of the sea, in the central part of the bay, with its crystal clear waters, marks the visit to this place.
In the bay of Zimbralinho, you can see rocks from the underwater volcanic sequences, of basaltic nature, contemporary with the pre-emergence phase of the island.

How to get to Zimbralinhos?
There are two easy ways to reach this hidden gem beach on the southern coast of Porto Island.
You can drive all the way up and make the short walk down the stairs, or kayak to Zimbralinho beach. After a pretty steep, cliff-side stairway leads you down to the beach, you will be on the rocky shore with giant cliff walls towering over you.

Where to start the trail?
The hike ‘officially’ begins at the main road. Once you are on this road, you simply follow the trail all the way up the hill until you reach an intersection. Then you just have to follow the path and go down to Zimbralinhos, enjoy the place to explore the area, and do snorkel in these clear waters.
The best way to do this hike is to first visit Zimbralinho Beach and then return to the intersection and visit Miradouro Flores Viewpoint second. This means you can finish the hike with sunset.
