One of the delicacies that people often take to the Christmas parties in Madeira Island, and even usually all peple have at home during this season, are the coconut cookies. Here’s the recipe:
1 kg Flour
1/4 Kg of Coconut
1/2 Kg Sugar
1/4 Kg of Butter
Mix everything in a bowl, with a wooden spoon, some people do it with the hands.
Small balls are molded and into the oven under a silicone carpet or a tray lined with parchment paper, about 15m.
